Cannot connect from windows 7

Hi. I'm trying to test your app v1.0.1. Unfortunately I cannot get it to connect to mongo from windows 7 (no mongo installed). My mongo server is remote and I can access via ssh.

I have tried using both a docker container to provide the shell and the SSH options. I have tried to both a standalone mongo server as well as a clustered mongo instance. I have also manually tunnelled the port to the remote server but receive the same error.

The connection tests are successful.

However when trying to startup a connection I get a toaster alert with:

Error: Error: File not found: at new WindowsPtyAgent (C:\Program Files\dbKoda\resources\app.asar\assets\controller\node_modules\node-pty\lib\windowsPtyAgent.js:25:24) at new WindowsTerminal (C:\Program Files\dbKoda\resources\app.asar\assets\controller\node_modules\node-pty\lib\windowsTerminal.js:45:24) at spawn (C:\Program Files\dbKoda\resources\app.asar\assets\controller\node_modules\node-pty\lib\index.js:27:12) at MongoShell.createShell (C:\Program Files\dbKoda\resources\app.asar\assets\controller\lib\controllers\mongo-shell\index.js:538:41) at C:\Program Files\dbKoda\resources\app.asar\assets\controller\lib\controllers\mongo-connection\index.js:614:15 at Promise () at Object.createMongoShellProcess (C:\Program Files\dbKoda\resources\app.asar\assets\controller\lib\controllers\mongo-connection\index.js:605:14) at C:\Program Files\dbKoda\resources\app.asar\assets\controller\lib\controllers\mongo-connection\index.js:577:16 at Promise (...

The windowsPtyAgent.js file does exist in the folder and I have no idea why it would be failing at

// Open pty session. var term = pty.startProcess(file, commandLine, env, cwd, cols, rows, debug);

Any advice on how to get it to do anything?

Hi Paul,

Sorry for the delayed response, I've raised a ticket for this and we'll investigate right away to see if we can reproduce this issue.

Kind Regards,

Michael from dbKoda.
