Error on dbKoda

I did the installation of dbKoda but on the first screen, a dialog box appears informing an error. I did the installation again and it has the same error. I found the log but it does not tell me much. Would you help me ?

Thanks for trying out dbKoda and sorry to hear you've run into this problem!

Could you send us the contents of that second log file "controller_<date>.log", it may contain more clues to help us diagnose your issue!

Follows print from the second log, however, the log is empty.

That's tricky, we were expecting some output in the controller when this error message appears! But a blank file doesn't give us many clues.

If you could let us know some of the below information, we might be able to try reproducing the error and diagnosing it;


  • What operating system are you on?
  • Do you have administrator privileges?
  • What version of dbKoda are you running?
  • What version of MongoDB are you running?
  • Are you running behind a corporate firewall or proxy that might block the app?
